Our kitchens remain open for our communities.
With customers currently unable to dine-in at Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) venues, takeaway and home delivered meals have become the new normal for many of our local customers.
The service has been incredibly popular, and the chefs and kitchen staff have done a great job in ensuring the menus are refreshed regularly to keep our customers engaged and coming back for their favourite pub classics as well as trying new dishes.
It has been incredibly important to us that we stay connected with our Pegasus Rewards members and continue to offer them value through discounted meals and exclusive offers. It was also crucial that we continue serving our local communities who are the lifeblood of our venues whilst maintaining jobs for our loyal staff.
The uptake of technology has been critical to our success during this period, with the swift implementation of the online order platform OrderUp allowing simple ordering processes for customers and our staff. The Fork reservation system, installed during the brief period of time we were allowed customers in June, also helped ensure we were able to comply with all regulatory requirements regarding social distancing, restricted numbers and customer flow.
The lockdown period has seen a few annual milestones including Mother’s Day, Christmas in July and Father’s Day which would ordinarily see our bistros fully booked. All venues have gone above and beyond to create a range of unique offers to ensure customers can have their favourite eat-at-home meals safely, while celebrating and cherishing these moments with family.
