Do I require a current Member as a proposer when applying?

You won’t need to have a proposer when joining the Club. This part of the application process is designed to reward current MRC members who refer family and friends to the Club.

What are the payment options?

You are able to make payment through VISA, Mastercard or AMEX. Alternatively, you can join the Direct Debit Payment Program and pay in monthly installments.

Do I have to pay a joining fee?

All new members are required to pay a higher membership fee in their first year of Membership. Once you have joined the Club, a lower renewal fee will be applicable each season.

I have lost my Membership card, how can I arrange for a replacement?

Lost or stolen membership cards/passes must be reported to the Membership Team immediately to prevent unauthorised use. A replacement can be arranged by contacting the Membership Team on 1300 GO RACE (46 7223) (fees may apply). See more information here.

Am I able to bring a friend to the races under my Membership?

Yes, you are able to bring guests along to Caulfield, Mornington and Sportsbet Sandown for selected race meetings (limits and conditions apply).

Daily guest passes must be arranged at time of member registration. This can be done by selecting the "guest passes" option on the online registration form here or when registering over the phone by calling 1300 GO RACE (46 7223). Guests must be pre-registered and full name, contact number and email address must be provided at time of registration.

Please note, Guest Passes must be arranged prior to race day and cannot be arranged on race day. Guests will be turned away and unable to access Members' Reserve if not pre-registered.

What dress code is applicable when in the Members reserve areas?

In line with the standards at the Melbourne Racing Club, a dress code policy is enforced whilst in the members reserve areas at all three racecourses. For more details on the dress code policies, please go to the Dress Codes page.

Where can I park?
